As a proprietor of Jackson Family Wines, Julia herself, has always had an interest in wine. Born in San Francisco, CA, 1988, she had grown up picking and sorting grapes. As she grew, she learned how to produce and make wine by working a harvest whilst abroad in Bordeaux.Julia attended Scrips College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts, as well as a certificate of General Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. This allowed her to become a well rounded individual aside from all of the personal experienced she received in wine-making whist growing up.
With wineries all over the world the brands closest to home for Julia would be those located in California, such as Cardinale or La Jota, both located in the beautiful Napa Valley.Julia Jackson is definitely renown for being a proprietor of the fantastic wine from Jackson Family Wines, but she is also a humanitarian and empowers women, which truly speaks to her character as a person. She has also been praised for her works with Cambria Estate Winery, a non-profit organization. This program awards $100,000 annually to other non-profit organizations that empower and celebrate incredible women in society. With this organization she has been able to launch the Seeds of Empowerment program as well, which honors “Warrior Women” who overcame difficult circumstances in their life, and inspire others to do so as well.
