How Does Ronald Fowlkes Do It?

Ronald Fowlkes has been training, educating and protecting those around him for his entire life. First he was a decorated Marine then a contractor with the United States Department of Defense and now a Business Development Manager at Eagle Industries Unlimited, Inc. His career in law enforcement and the military spans over 30 years.

 

Ronald Fowlkes attended the Marine Corps School of Infantry where he became a United States Marine and served in the First Gulf War. During his service he was meritoriously promoted twice and became a mentor to his comrades. He has tactical knowledge and experience with reconnaissance, Modular Universal Laser Equipment (MULE), and other military equipment used to protect and eliminate enemy threats. Ronald took art in Operation Dessert Shield and Operation Dessert Storm.

 

After serving in the marine corps, Ronald joined the Joint Improvised Explosive Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). This organization specializes in destroying enemy IED and bomb threats ahead of military personnel on the ground. Most casualties taken by ground forces is from road-side bombs and IEDs. Whether mounted in a vehicle or on foot IEDs pose an extreme hazard. Ronald Fowlkes understood firsthand the devastating impact of IEDs and began improving JIEDDO’s training and detection equipment. Ronald’s knowledge and experience led him to became a police officer with the St. Luis Metropolitan Police Department.

 

For over thirteen years Ronald served the department and became a team leader for the St. Luis Metropolitan Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). For seven years Ronald took part in thousands of high-risk entries, hostage situations and civil disobedience cases. His foresight, tactical strategies and incredible understanding of combat situations allowed him to become a fully licensed SWAT/URBAN instructor where he trained recruits not based on theory, but pure experience and firsthand contact.

 

In 2008, Eagle Industries Unlimited, Inc. noticed Ronald’s leadership and managerial skills and was quick to hire him. He has been with Eagle Industries for nine years and continues to train over 150 employees on how to use new Eagle Industries products. He is also a development manager who oversees and improves new tactical gear offered by the company.
